The Hume west of Goulburn — Gunning, Breadalbane, Cullerin and the Dalton wind-farm country north of them. You join the highway going the right way immediately, so despite being further from Sydney than Goulburn the fares stay modest.

Gunning is the village — Yass Street, the court house, Barbour Park, the hotel, and a main street that has survived being bypassed rather better than most. Cullerin, Breadalbane, Jerrawa, Oolong and Lerida are strung along or just off the Hume between there and Goulburn.
North of the highway the country opens into wind-farm and grazing land: Dalton, Lade Vale, Bellmount Forest, Broadway, Blakney Creek. The Cullerin Range wind farm is the landmark most people know, and the ridgelines here are genuinely exposed — it is windy country in a way the Hume does not always reveal at 110km/h.
Gunning is further from Sydney Airport than Goulburn is, and yet Gunning's fare is $459 against Goulburn's $379 — a much smaller gap than the map suggests. Breadalbane at $419 is actually cheaper than most of the Goulburn ring.
The reason is that you get onto the Hume immediately and pointed the right way. There is no country leg to absorb first. The whole trip is highway, and highway is the cheap part of any transfer to run.
The one local condition worth knowing. The range fogs early and clears late, and the wind that makes it good turbine country also makes it an uncomfortable stretch in the dark for anyone unfamiliar with it.
We drive it constantly, allow for it, and do not treat a foggy morning as a reason to make up time afterwards. A 6am international departure means leaving Gunning around 12:20am.
Onto the Hume at Gunning and north through Goulburn and Mittagong to the M5.

We service the whole Southern Tablelands. If your town sits on the boundary, try the regions either side — or just ring and we will tell you the fare.
$459 one way for one or two passengers, rising with the seat count. Every locality in Gunning & Western Corridor has its own published fare in the table above.
Around 12:20 AM from Gunning. That allows the drive plus the two-hour international check-in window. Outer localities in this region leave earlier again, and your confirmed time comes with the booking.
The price is set by the passengers you book. The four-seat column is what four people pay between them, not each — which is why group travel from out here usually beats the train.
Routinely, and at no extra charge for unsealed roads or long driveways. Give us the property name, the road surface and a landmark we can pick out in the dark.
No. Nothing is charged when you book and we do not hold card details. You pay the driver after drop-off by card, cash or PayID.
Yes to both, and both are published: Western Sydney Airport is $30 under the Sydney Airport fare for one or two passengers, and both cruise terminals are about $40 over it.
No deposit. Fixed fare published for your town. Pickup time worked backwards from your flight.
