Heritage Braidwood and the gold country south and east of it. These are the longest runs we do, on roads with wildlife about at dawn — which is exactly when an airport transfer leaves.

Braidwood is a National Trust-classified town and it looks it — Wallace Street's streetscape is the reason people stop, along with the museum and the Royal Mail. It is also the last town before the Clyde Mountain descent to Batemans Bay, which gives it a passing trade most towns this size never see.
South of it the gold country begins: Majors Creek on the ridge with the Elrington Hotel and its festival, and Araluen down in the valley below, where the old diggings and the stone-fruit orchards share the same flats. Mongarlowe sits east on its river. Nerriga is further east again on the Braidwood-Nowra road, the shortcut to the coast, with Oallen and the Shoalhaven crossing beyond it. Windellama sits north, out the Windellama Road toward Goulburn.
Araluen at $579 is one of the longest transfers we quote, and it earns it — the valley road out is slow before the Kings Highway even starts, and the Kings Highway is slow before the Federal Highway begins. Braidwood itself is $529, Nerriga $509, Windellama $439.
A 6am international departure means leaving Braidwood around 11:50pm. From Araluen, earlier. We tell people the real number when they ring rather than a comfortable one, because the alternative is a phone call at midnight that goes badly.
Every road in this region has kangaroos and wombats on it at dawn and dusk, and the Araluen and Nerriga roads have them in numbers. That is simply what driving here is.
The answer is not to go faster to make up time. It is to leave with enough margin that there is nothing to make up — which is the reason these pickups are as early as they are, and why we would rather explain that than shave twenty minutes off the estimate to make the booking sound easier.
Along the Kings Highway to Bungendore, up the Federal Highway to the Hume, then north to Sydney.
One way to Sydney Airport, set by the passengers you book rather than per person. Each name links to that locality's own page with the full one-to-eleven table.

We service the whole Southern Tablelands. If your town sits on the boundary, try the regions either side — or just ring and we will tell you the fare.
$529 one way for one or two passengers, rising with the seat count. Every locality in Braidwood & South-East has its own published fare in the table above.
Around 11:50 PM from Braidwood. That allows the drive plus the two-hour international check-in window. Outer localities in this region leave earlier again, and your confirmed time comes with the booking.
The price is set by the passengers you book. The four-seat column is what four people pay between them, not each — which is why group travel from out here usually beats the train.
Routinely, and at no extra charge for unsealed roads or long driveways. Give us the property name, the road surface and a landmark we can pick out in the dark.
No. Nothing is charged when you book and we do not hold card details. You pay the driver after drop-off by card, cash or PayID.
Yes to both, and both are published: Western Sydney Airport is $30 under the Sydney Airport fare for one or two passengers, and both cruise terminals are about $40 over it.
No deposit. Fixed fare published for your town. Pickup time worked backwards from your flight.
Not sure which option suits you? Ask and we will tell you honestly.
