The OPT sits on the western side of Sydney Cove, a few minutes’ walk from the Opera House and directly on Circular Quay. It is east of the Harbour Bridge, which is why the largest ships berth here — they never have to pass beneath it.
There is no short or long-term parking at the terminal itself. Driving yourself means finding commercial parking in the CBD and paying for every day you are at sea, which for a fortnight is the single biggest hidden cost of the trip.
Trains, buses and ferries all reach Circular Quay, so getting there from inside Sydney is easy. None of them reach the Southern Tablelands early enough to make a morning boarding, which is the gap we fill.
Your ticket says. The difference is the Harbour Bridge: ships too tall to pass under it berth at the Overseas Passenger Terminal. If yours is the other one, see White Bay — Rozelle, west of the bridge, for mid-sized ships.
We work from your boarding window rather than the ship’s departure time, and add the margin the city end actually needs on the day you are travelling. A Saturday morning boarding is not the same drive as a Tuesday one.
Every one of the the towns we service we service has its own cruise transfer page with the local detail on it. Tell us the terminal, the date, the passenger count and roughly how many bags, and the fixed price comes back in writing.

There is no train or coach from this direction that suits a boarding window, so it is drive and park, or a pre-booked private transfer. We run door to terminal from every town we service.
Published for every town: $30 over the Sydney Airport fare for that town. From Goulburn it is $449 for one or two passengers, from Tallong $425. Every seat count from one to eleven is on your town’s cruise page.
Tell us the bag count when you book and we send a vehicle with the boot to match. It is the question most quotes get wrong, so we ask it up front.
We are a Goulburn-based operator working the Southern Tablelands, and this run is part of the same business as the airport work — the same vehicles, the same drivers and the same fixed-price-before-you-book approach.
Fares for every town we service are published on this site rather than quoted on the phone, so you can check a price before you speak to anybody.
Tell us the date and how many of you are travelling. Fixed price in writing, no deposit, nothing charged until after drop-off.
Not sure which option suits you? Ask and we will tell you honestly.
